Apollo Neuroscience is an American wellness technology company founded by physicians and neuroscientists. Its Apollo wearable is a small vibrating device that can be strapped around the wrist or ankle, clipped to clothing or placed elsewhere on the body with an accessory.
How it works
The device does not measure stress or sleep directly. A phone app controls a motor inside the device, which produces gentle vibration patterns with different rhythms and intensities. Sessions are organised around goals such as energy, focus, relaxation and sleep. Optional software can use information from connected health services to select and schedule these patterns.
Key considerations
Apollo is sold as a wellness product and is not a regulated medical treatment. Research into its effects is still limited. Some automated features require a paid membership, and the rechargeable battery prevents continuous use without regular charging.
