Upright Technologies is an Israeli company making posture trainers. Its Upright Go devices attach to the upper back with adhesive or a necklace and connect to an app that records posture.
How it works
Motion sensors measure the angle and movement of the torso. During setup, the device learns an upright position. When the torso stays outside that range, training mode produces a gentle vibration. Tracking mode records posture without feedback. The app shows upright time, slouching patterns and training plans.
Key considerations
The device measures upper body angle and cannot determine whether one posture is correct for every body. Placement, calibration, clothing and deliberate bending affect alerts. Adhesive pads require replacement, and frequent vibration may become distracting or ignored. Posture is only one contributor to discomfort. Upright supports habit awareness and does not diagnose or treat back pain, spinal conditions or musculoskeletal injury.
