Sens.ai is a Canadian company that makes a brain training headset. The device is worn across the forehead and combines brain sensing, light stimulation, sound and programmes aimed at attention, calm and sleep.
How it works
Three electrodes detect small electrical patterns from brain activity. The headset turns those patterns into feedback during training. Near infrared lights also shine through the forehead and are intended to influence cellular energy and blood flow in surface brain tissue. Timed sound patterns support the selected session, while the app tracks scores and progress.
Key considerations
Brain signals are easily affected by eye movement, facial muscles, hair and poor contact. Feedback scores simplify complex activity, and evidence for combined home protocols remains limited. Some programmes and coaching features require membership payments.
