Atlas is an American neurotechnology company. Its first product, the Atlas 1.0, is a fingernail sized device worn behind the ear. It weighs about three grams and clips onto a disposable sensor.

How it works
Groups of brain cells give off faint electrical activity that reaches the skin, and the sensor reads it there. Three further signals add context. A motion sensor follows head movement, two contacts read how well the skin conducts electricity, and a vibration pickup registers speech without capturing words. The app turns all of it into three live scores called Presence, Stress and Energy Burn, plotted across the day against sleep, calendar events and activity.

Key considerations
Nothing has shipped yet. The first batch sold out at $499 against a Q1 2027 date, the app is iPhone only, and sensors arrive on a membership of about $30 a month.
