Odyss is a wearable company built entirely around eating. The N1 is a small metal pendant worn on a necklace, shown at IFA in Berlin in September 2026, where it won an innovation award. Its target is the one part of health tracking still done by hand.

How it works

A wide angle camera on the pendant watches for food and for the movement of a hand toward the mouth, while a motion sensor and contact sensors register whether it is being worn at all. Software identifies meals from that footage and returns three scores covering quality, energy and rhythm. Faces are blurred, raw images are deleted after processing, and a physical switch cuts all sensing.

Key considerations

It is a concept. The company says detection needs weeks of correction from the wearer before it settles.
