WHAT THEY MAKE

Moxy Monitor is a sports technology company focused on muscle oxygen. Its wearable sensor is attached over a chosen muscle during activity. Athletes, coaches and researchers use the data to understand local effort, pacing and recovery.

How it works
Near infrared light passes through the skin into tissue. Haemoglobin and myoglobin absorb the light differently depending on whether they carry oxygen. The sensor analyses returning light to estimate muscle oxygen saturation continuously, then sends the readings to compatible displays or training software. Changes show how oxygen delivery and use respond in that muscle.

Key considerations
Moxy measures one area, so placement, body fat, skin blood flow and movement can affect results. Values from different muscles or people should not be treated as interchangeable. Interpreting thresholds requires experience and context from activity.
