Lumia Health is an American company that makes a smart earring for blood flow and wellness tracking. Lumia 2 also records sleep, readiness, activity and cycle related patterns. The company initially developed the technology for people experiencing dizziness and symptoms linked with upright blood flow.

How it works
Infrared light reads an artery near the ear surface to follow blood flow to the head. The device also collects pulse and movement signals. Software connects these measurements with posture, sleep and activity, then displays trends and alerts in the Lumia app. It measures artery flow and does not measure blood flow inside the brain.

Key considerations
Lumia 2 is a wellness product and is not intended to diagnose or treat POTS, dysautonomia or other conditions. Fit and earring placement affect signal quality. The product has limited independent consumer evidence and requires a paid membership for insights.
