Sleepme is an American company known for Chilipad, a water based mattress cooling and heating system. A thin pad covers the mattress and connects by tubes to a bedside control unit, with one or two zones.

How it works
The control unit cools or warms water and pumps it through narrow channels in the pad. Scheduled temperature changes support preferences across the night. Newer systems use bed presence sensors to begin a routine at bedtime. An optional sensor layer measures movement from heartbeat and breathing, producing sleep stages, heart rate, breathing rate and sleep scores.

Key considerations
The system changes bed temperature and does not cool the room. It requires electricity, water maintenance and space beside the bed. Pumps can make noise, and leaks or condensation are possible.
