WHAT THEY MAKE

Peloton is an American fitness company known for connected exercise equipment and classes. Its ecosystem combines equipment, apps and heart rate monitors. Software adds movement tracking, rep counting and personalised training plans across cardio and strength workouts.

How it works
Equipment sensors record cadence, resistance, speed or output by machine. A connected heart rate monitor uses light or chest electrodes to show pulse and zones. Cameras on selected products analyse movement to count repetitions and provide form related feedback. Peloton software combines workout history and connected wearable data into plans and summaries.

Key considerations
Most content and connected features require a paid membership, and advanced tools depend on specific hardware. Heart rate and movement tracking can be affected by fit, camera position and exercise. Automated form guidance cannot identify every unsafe movement or injury risk. Peloton supports fitness and does not provide medical assessment.
