WHAT THEY MAKE

Parasym is a British company that develops Nurosym, a CE certified vagus nerve stimulator. The ear worn system is intended for home use across research involving autonomic and inflammatory regulation. Users complete timed sessions at adjustable intensity.

How it works
An electrode clips to the tragus of the ear and sends mild electrical pulses to an auricular branch of the vagus nerve. This nerve carries signals between the brain and organs. Repeated stimulation is intended to influence these networks without surgery.

Key considerations
Medical device certification does not mean Nurosym is approved for every condition discussed publicly. Benefits depend on indication, protocol and individual response. Correct placement matters, and tingling or irritation can occur. People with implanted electronics, heart conditions or contraindications should follow the safety guidance and consult a clinician.
