iSense is an American sleep company that makes adjustable mattresses and connected beds. Hybrid Premier mattresses include a built in biometric sensor for passive sleep tracking. The system is designed to monitor sleep patterns without requiring the sleeper to wear a watch or ring.

How it works
A sensor within the mattress detects small pressure and movement changes created by breathing, heartbeats and position changes. Software uses these signals to estimate sleep duration, heart rate, respiration and movement. Results reach the iSense app, for nightly review with firmness settings and adjust each side on compatible models.

Key considerations
Mattress based sensing infers sleep from movement and body signals and does not measure brain activity. Another person, pets or poor connectivity may affect results. Features depend on the mattress model and app support. Reports are estimates and cannot identify or rule out a sleep disorder.
