WHAT THEY MAKE

Earable Neuroscience is an American and Vietnamese neurotechnology company that makes the FRENZ Brainband. The soft headband is worn across the forehead during sleep and combines brain sensing with built in audio. It is designed to track sleep and deliver personalised sound without separate headphones.

How it works
Dry electrodes record electrical activity from the brain, eyes and facial muscles, while optical and motion sensors add heart rate and movement. Software identifies sleep stages in real time. Bone conduction speakers then send sound through the skull and adjust the audio as the wearer falls asleep, enters deeper sleep or wakes during the night.

Key considerations
Comfort and signal quality depend on stable contact across the forehead throughout the night. Independent evidence remains limited, and the headband requires regular charging and app use.
