WHAT THEY MAKE

Anker is a Chinese consumer electronics group in Shenzhen, known worldwide for chargers and cables. Its audio brand soundcore now runs a dedicated sleep line, and its home brand eufy sells body composition scales, which places a large accessories maker inside consumer health.

How it works

The Sleep earbuds are slim enough to lie under the ear of a side sleeper. Microphones in the charging case listen for a partner snoring, read how loud and how deep the sound is, and generate masking audio pitched to cover it, while noise cancelling handles steady sound like traffic. A motion sensor in each bud follows movement and head position to estimate sleep stages, and an alarm wakes only the wearer.

Key considerations

Sleep staging from an earbud is an estimate, and nothing in the line is a medical device. The case holds a few nights of charge.
