Amazfit is the consumer wearable brand of Zepp Health, a global health technology company with roots in China. Its range includes smartwatches, screenless fitness bands and a smart ring, which are worn on the wrist, upper arm or finger for fitness, sleep and sports tracking.
How it works
Lights shine into the skin and measure changes in blood flow with each heartbeat. Motion sensors track steps and movement, while satellite positioning maps outdoor exercise. Some models also measure temperature or electrical signals from the heart. The Zepp app turns this data into heart rate, blood oxygen estimates, sleep stages, workout routes, recovery measures and readiness scores.
Key considerations
Features vary widely across the range, so a particular sensor or metric may only be available on certain models.
