WHAT THEY MAKE

Inito is a fertility technology company that makes an at home hormone monitor. The system measures four urine markers on one test strip to identify fertile days and confirm ovulation. Results appear in a companion app.

How it works
The user dips a strip into urine and places it in the reader. Optical sensing measures metabolites linked with oestrogen and progesterone, along with luteinising hormone and follicle stimulating hormone. Rising oestrogen helps identify the fertile window, a luteinising hormone surge predicts approaching ovulation, and a later progesterone marker supports confirmation. The app follows changes across multiple days.

Key considerations
Testing requires recurring strips, consistent timing and several readings each cycle. Diluted urine, medication and hormonal conditions can affect patterns. Inito supports fertility awareness but does not guarantee ovulation, pregnancy or contraception. Unexpected results or ongoing difficulty conceiving require assessment by a qualified clinician.
